"I belong on the sofa. You, creepy creature, belong in that glass box with
the big light bulb,” snapped Figgy, the cat.
Figgy hated to admit that he was getting attached to the scaly thing. They loved to get suntans together when the rays came in the window.
Germin was happy to have a smaller new friend in the house. The dogs were big and goofy. His black and white buddy was smart and sassy. Figgy's master would never let the cat play with him. The other girls in the house introduced the two pets to each other when the master left for Texas.
Figgy remembered that Katey worried about the cat eating the creepy creature. Figgy had licked the creature when she had been playing with the silly dogs. The cat preferred her bowl of kitty food.
